We are a public standard setting entity that meets up with private professionals from 5 sectors of argan oil, honey, aromatic and medicinal plants, goat meat and rural tourism industries to develop and implement a standard for sustainable products and services.
The ABR EMA has developed a set of environmental and social criteria which companies must comply with in order to produce certified sustainable products. When they are properly applied, these criteria can help minimize the negative impact of argan,forest management on the environment and communities of the argan biosphere reserve.
The ABR EMA has more than 30 members worldwide who represent cooperatives, companies and economic interest groups along the various supply chains. They have committed to produce, source and/or use sustainable products certified according to the ABR Standard.
